I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is super attentive and after ordering my food came in less than 10 mins. And it was perfect! I ordered general chicken spicy but next time all ask for extra spice. Ambiance at the bar is one of my favorite spots in Reno.

Although there are plenty of pho options in Reno, it's a bit difficult to find some consistently good ones. La Mint proves to be consistently good with their food and service. We ordered a combination pho (which was filled with plenty of meat and bean sprouts) and the broth was flavorful without being too salty. We also ordered the pork chops with rice and some egg rolls. The pork chops with the sauce on the side had great flavor and the egg rolls were filled with deliciously seasoned meat. The only dish we weren't a fan of was the chow fun. It wasn't terrible but lacked flavor compared to the other dishes. Their service was wonderful - super quick and friendly. The ambiance is very cute - they did a great job remodeling this place from what it was before and have a cute instagram able area at the front where you wait. This will "pho sure" be one of our new go to pho places in town.

TL DR: get the pho, skip the chow fun, great service After running some errands on a cold Sunday, my family, and I decided to check out La Mint for some traditional pho and noodles. There are many options on their extensive menu. Vietnamese, including some Chinese. The good: Really nice balance of flavors with the pho as well as rice vermicelli pork chop dish. Suitcase on the fur was well seasoned without being too salty. Portions were generous. Soup was hot 5/5 The rice vermicelli pork chop dish also well done. Pork chops were seasoned well, dipping sauce, not too salty, and rolls were great. 5/5 Unfortunately, while the beef chow fun looked great it lacked a lot flavor. The traditional wok hay is missing and it isn't salty enough and misses a major umami component. A pro is they do use super fresh noodles. 3/5 Ambience What a great surprise, well lit and decorated. Cohesive. And even a cute little photo area that you can take TikTok and insta worthy photos. I would absolutely come here again for the pho and vermicelli noodles!

I really enjoy the shrimp and egg roll vermicelli bowl. One of my favorite dishes here. Service is always efficient and the meals are priced reasonably.

The food was very tasty. I ordered the Mongolian beef. We went during lunch and tried their lunch special, which was reasonably priced. ($12-$15) It wasn't very busy for lunch time and the service was attentive. The dining area was clean and had nice decorations. We'd certainly do back.

We dined in for an early lunch. For $13, I had the curry chicken with rice, soup and an egg roll. It was all very good and came out fresh. The restaurant was very clean and our server was fast and friendly. I also loved the decor! So pretty and every table had fresh flowers.

This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant. The food is really fresh and the seasoning light and delicious. I also love that they offered the lunch special on the weekends. They are very attentive with their service as well. I do wish the curry was a little stronger flavored perhaps more coconut milk but overall excellent.

The vibe is sexy Asian modern and the service is quick and reliable. Came here for pho. Also had an excellent Vietnamese Sandwich. The French bread was warm and roasted. The pepper very hot the way I like it. The pho was eh. The basil and sides all excellent and fresh. The dac biet beef ball, tendon, tripe, etc all very good. Noodle was good too. But the broth was not very good. It was chicken stock and lack all the ingredients that make the pho broth so good. Things like bone broth, star anise, etc etc. It was lacking. Given the higher prices, gonna have to knock this down. I think this is more touristy pho and not the real thing. Because the establishment is clean, will bump this up to 4 stars. To mgmt: please improve the broth for your pho. Otherwise, I will just have to learn how to make real pho broth.
